This Torrey Pines family photoshoot was extra special for me, as Britt and her family have been longtime clients and are truly one of my favorites to photograph. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to document so many of their milestones—Britt’s first pregnancy, newborn photos, mama-and-daughter sessions, family of three moments, mama-and-son sessions, and now their full family of four.

Let’s be real: a photoshoot with a baby and a toddler often means a bit of chaos. But somehow, Britt’s family always brings the magic, and their photos turn out exactly how I’d want my own family photos to look. Seriously, goals!

Torrey Pines is one of my absolute favorite North County locations, especially in the spring. The cliffs come alive with vibrant greenery and pops of purple wildflowers, creating the dreamiest backdrop. This location offers a little bit of everything: iconic Torrey Pine trees, sweeping cliff views, and fairly easy access to the beach below. While I usually save the beach for sessions without kiddos, the cliffs alone provide endless beauty and versatility for family portraits.
