Photography is a wonderfully powerful way to remember what it felt like. While I am taking photos of people, I always find myself in awe. I can't help but think about how far the photos will travel, all the homes they will live in, how many generations they will be passed down for, the eyes that will stare at them, the hearts that will cherish them, and someday, the thumbs that will ever-so-gently brush across the faces of the people in the photos. The significance of the images I take is never lost on me. They're infinitely more than just pretty photos. I'm not aiming to take perfect, instagram worthy photos -- I intend to create heartfelt images that will live on for generations within your family.
My Philosophy
I pour my heart and soul into your photos, as well as your experience. My shooting style is primarily candid and documentary, with a hint of portraiture. In other words, I simply intend to tell your unique story as it unfolds, while giving you support and gentle guidance along the way. I am not the picture-perfect-posey-portrait-photographer. Yes, I'll snap a few traditional portraits during your shoot where (hopefully) everyone is looking and smiling at the camera, but my true intention is to photograph your connections, authentically, in the season of life that you are currently in. The messy and the magical. I like to keep things relaxed and easy, and I aim to have a bit more of a hands off approach. Don't worry, I will give direction and prompts throughout your session, but my primary focus is to have you interacting together so I can document real moments that honor the personalities, love, and emotion between you and your partner/family.

I have a few different session offerings to cater to the different needs and desires of my clients, but here is some generalized information regarding most session types so you know what to expect. Once you reach out via my contact form, I'll respond by sharing some full client galleries and my availability. After we find a date that works for you, I'll send over your agreement and an invoice to get you locked in. When the forms are complete, you will receive a Welcome email and my Session Prep Guide. We'll figure out the perfect location for your photos, and in the week leading up to your session I will share directions and parking information. Your final invoice will be sent to you 3 days before your session and is due the day before we meet. Leading up to your photoshoot, we will chat back and forth (if you wish) to make sure you put together the best wardrobe for the photos.

Family Sessions
$650 | 40 minutes | 40+ images | 1 location
All sessions will take place during the golden hour, the glory that happens before the sun disappears for the night (UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUESTED). Sessions generally last about 40 minutes, depending on the littles. We'll figure out the perfect location for your family. I'll share my Session Prep Guide and help you decide what to wear and how to prepare. We'll meet on the day of your session, snap the traditional portraits, and then let the session unfold. Every session is different, because every family is different. Children will be children. I'm here for it all.

Maternity Sessions
$700 | 60 minutes | 50 images | 1 location
The best time to book your maternity shoot is between 29-35 weeks. Sessions generally last about 60 minutes. We'll go over your vision to figure out the perfect location and I'll share my Session Prep Guide to help you decide what to wear and how to prepare. We'll meet on the day of your session, and create some absolutely beautiful photos of you and your growing belly!!!!! Maternity sessions can be solo, with your partner, or include the whole family if you already have kiddos. If you bring the fam, we'll definitely get a perfect mixture of everything family/maternity.

Outdoor lifestyle sessions will be scheduled during golden hour - those glorious last 60 minutes of light (unless requested otherwise). In-home lifestyle sessions are typically scheduled around 11 am or so we can work with the best light within your home.
