In home engagement sessions are high on my list for personal favorites. While I definitely LOVE being outside, gorgeous landscapes, and golden sunsets… I feel like in home sessions are able to capture the truest essence of whatever season of life you may be in.

Photos are meant to be so much more than just “pretty” – They’re meant to evoke memories… To remind you what it felt like… To remind you of the home you first created together… The dog you two adopted when you got engaged… What life was like before a decade or two of marriage… Photos posses the ability to take us back to a moment in time we’d otherwise never be able to revisit on a visual level.

Every time I get to photograph a couple in their home, I can’t help but think about what the photos will mean to them 20 or 40 years from now. I always love looking through photographs from when I was a kid, and remembering what the house looked like pre-renovations… The dog I grew up with… The way I put my barbie blow up couches in my lizard cage… Haha. Anyway, now I’m just taking a trip down memory lane but basically if you haven’t figured it out yet I 10/10 recommend booking an in home session, whether you’re engaged or married or have 3 babies, furry or human
