First of all, I need to start by saying that Forest House Lodge in Northern California is the PERFECT PLACE to have your wedding. They have a huge beautiful property that has everything you could possibly need, and then some. The ceremony site has some of the most perfect views I’ve ever seen. 10/10 recommend.
Lauren & Andrew are from Northern California, and originally just booked me for their EPIC engagement session in San Diego. We went out on Lauren’s dad’s sailboat in the bay at Shelter Island. It was literally a dream, so much dang fun. We ended up hitting it off and the photos came out so great, needless to say they ended up booking me for their wedding. It was originally scheduled for May 2020, but because of covid, they rescheduled for November and the day was quite perfect.
So like I mentioned, Forest House Lodge has everything you could need in one place. There’s a beautiful, spacious bridal suite and then some moody, artsy quarters for the guys. There’s a cigar room, an arcade room, a bar, a huge dining room, a cozy little room with a fireplace, an outdoor patio, a garden, and not to mention they have a bunch of rooms on the upper level of the lodge for the guests. And then of course the ceremony site which is just down the road.
The energy of Lauren & Andrew’s day was so great and honestly it was the most fun I had all year! Lauren wore her grandmother’s wedding dress that was 67 years old. It was absolutely stunning. All of the food and desserts were super delicious, and they even created Half Dome on the back of the cake which is where Andrew proposed!
