Love love LOVE these two & their photos from their Carlsbad engagement session this October.

Kandice and I actually go way back. I was in middle school when we met, she was my older brother’s friend in high school. Fast forward over a decade, she reached out to me about 8 months ago telling me her boyfriend Kelly had proposed at Yosemite in January of 2020 and that I was going to be her wedding photographer. First of all, I LOVE when my couples are sure about me. From the get go Kandice has told me she trusts me and that means more than everything. It makes “working” together that much better. When we had our “consult call” we ended up chatting on the phone for literally 2 hours. If you’re reading this K, ILY!!!

Kandice is a fellow Virgo and told me probably 10X that she and Kelly were going to be awkward in front of the camera… But they weren’t awkward ONCE. Not for a second. I mean, just scroll to the bottom of this blog and check out the bikini photos.

Carlsbad Cliffs have been SO crowded since Covid, heat waves, and big waves… But this evening it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Kelly and Kandice are having a small intimate wedding next spring in Yosemite and I literally cannot wait.

I wasn’t lying… Right? Not even 1% awkward, just 100% so cute & in love.
