Morgan & Summer planned and designed this dreamy boho Joshua Tree wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They recently started an event rental company, serving San Diego and beyond. You can find their services over at their website.
Like many other couples, M & S’s 2020 wedding was rescheduled and downsized not once but twice due to covid. These girls remained steadfast, while this difficult year continued to throw so many challenges their way.
The wedding followed the 2020 election by just 1 week, and Biden’s win was definitely a great victory for these women and their futures, as mothers and wives, just like so many others. Morgan & Summer are two resilient women, whose love and marriage is worthy just like any other. I’m grateful our country voted in their favor.
Morgan & Summer rented out the Hawkeye Dome House in Yucca Valley, which is just north of Joshua Tree National Park. They invited about 40 of their closest friends and family to gather together in celebration of their marriage. The day was intimate and casual – Morgan and Summer spent the morning and early afternoon together, and simply got dressed on different levels within the dome house moments before we went outside for their first look. Morgan’s dress is from Grace Loves Lace. It was probably also the windiest day of the year in Joshua Tree, which was definitely memorable.
This wedding was one of my favorite weddings to date, because of all of the personal touches that were added since the girls designed the entire wedding themselves. They even had a coat rack with vintage jackets and blankets for their guests to use. They walked down the aisle to the beautiful music played by the violinist Amy Serranno. Congrats, M & S. Thanks for letting me be a part of your beautiful boho Joshua Tree wedding.
